EWU’s Library seeks a cloud-based automated interlibrary loan (ILL) management system for use in an academic library environment. The target start date is July 1, 2025. The system shall have the following required features: • Licenses: Site license for all EWU students and faculty • Access to a robust international resource sharing network for tangible and electronic materials. • Ability to create customized request forms that use OpenURL to interface with discovery services (currently Ex Libris Primo and WorldCat.org). • Functionality for copyright management, including connection to Copyright Clearance Center (CCC). • Integrates with Integrated Library System (Ex Libris Alma) and discovery layer (Ex Libris Primo and WorldCat.org). • Integrates with University’s authentication system (SAML). • Integrates with external services, including Reprints Desk and Scannx. • Ability to create custom reports, charts, and data visualizations. • Meets standards for resource sharing platforms, including NCIP, Z39.50, OpenURL and ISO 18626; if FedRAMP-compliant; aligns with ISO 27001 and NIST Cyber Security Framework.
