Caterpillar Controls and SwitchgearInspection and Maintenance: • The Contractor shall follow Caterpillar’s recommended switchgear service guidelines and perform multifunctional operations of the systems programing verifying design operation. Verify software and firmware are current versions for the equipment and systems installed. This work requires Caterpillar specialized trained staff, tools, diagnostic and computer software. The Contractor will immediately notify the County of any deficiencies found that would prevent the normal operations. • Annual routine testing and inspections are required and shall be scheduled and completed each year. The Contractor will coordinate with the County in advance as to when the inspections will occur. When completed, the Contractor will be required to submit a written report detailing any component found to be in less than satisfactory condition. • Contractor shall verify all equipment, devices, and alarms are functioning properly. Reporting And Documentation: • Inspection Reports: Contractor will be required to submit a detailed inspection report to the County’s Project Manager listing the make, model and serial number of the inspected equipment noting any discrepancies found on the above components.
