Specifications include, but are not limited to: Puget Sound Educational Service District (PSESD) is acting on behalf of the seven Race to the Top District (RTTT-D) Consortium Member districts in releasing this RFP. Authorized Vendors of products are invited to provide proposals for an Optional Use contract to be considered by PSESD and the RTTT-D Consortium Member districts for the purpose of providing competitive pricing for Career Awareness Tools products. These products will be web-based online tools to support career awareness and exploration. For purposes of this RFP, Career Awareness Tools: Are delivered via the internet Provide users with age appropriate skills & interest inventories that suggest careers to research. Provide career research data including but not limited to career descriptions, images and video high school and post-secondary educational requirements job trends annual wages and employment outlook. Provide post-secondary research opportunities related to careers of interest including but not limited to connections to Community & Technical Colleges, Four-Year Colleges and Universities, Military Training, Apprenticeships. Provide relevant and engaging content for students with particular attention to culturally responsive images and videos (See #2 page 26). Are available in multiple venues through a student login including the classroom, home, community center and other locations. Include opportunities for students to create a career research portfolio capturing data from the site as well as the ability to upload and/or download resources to support the development of their High School and Beyond Plan. Maintain a record of information of student use that can move with students as they transition between schools within or across regional districts. - Allow counselors, teachers and other adults to modify, adapt or enhance program delivery features with local content including support for the High School and Beyond Plan.
