The qualified vendor will provide Class C tow truck services to support WSDOT’s winter operations on Snoqualmie Pass. When notified 12–24 hours in advance of a forecasted weather event, the contractor must deploy a qualified Class C tow truck and operator to a designated staging area. The unit must remain on Snoqualmie Pass and be available for up to 24 hours, unless otherwise directed by WSDOT, to support roadway clearance during winter weather events. Successful bidders shall provide pricing in adherence to the price sheet in (Appendix D) for the following line items: hourly rate should be based on 12 hour minimum (however if the event is downgraded after mobilization, WSDOT reserves the right to release the tow truck and operator following a minimum four (4) hour deployment period.)
