Scope of Work: All bidders will be required to provide a detailed sample design of the proposed sash. We request that the beads be no larger than a size eleven (11). Points will be higher for smaller bead sizes that showcase detailed imagery. Timeline: o Bid Awarded: May 27, 2025 o Work to Begin: Immediately Upon Notification of Awarded Project with 50% Project Payment o Project Updates: Bi-Weekly Thursdays Until Completion o Project Completion: Preferred by June 30, 2025 10AM o Timeline May Accommodate a Later Completion Date, dependent on 2025 selected delegate. o Final 50% Payment Issued When Sash is Received. Design Specifics: The beaded sash must include: Identified Title: “Mr. Colville Confederated Tribes” that would be present at the front. Reinforced buckskin tie strings for closure at the hip. Total Length should be 54”- 60” in design not including closures. Consistent Width of 6” minimum, no wider than 8” Bead size, type and colors should be accurately identified in design sample. Other materials used should be specified in quality/type/etc. in the design sample. o i.e. glass bead, acrylic bead, delica bead, cut bead, native tanned buckskin hide, commercial hide, sweet grass, porcupine quill, identified crystal stones etc. Overall design should include imagery, colors, and materials relationally significant to the 12 Tribes of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation. We are seeking high quality craftsmanship and artistry as this will become an heirloom/heritage piece that will be passed down to the delegates for many years to come.
