The project scope is to provide a complete interior renovation of key performance spaces in the School of Music Building on the University of Washington campus in Seattle. The bulk of the work will be limited to the 220-seat Brechemin Auditorium located on the first floor and a 78-seat Recital Hall (Room 213) located on the second floor. Both of these spaces will incorporate ADA accessibility improvements, acoustic design, mechanical upgrades, electrical, AV, lighting, and limited structural modifications including the seismic reinforcement of two unreinforced masonry walls in Brechemin Auditorium. The scope includes the renovation of the Recording Room (215) located adjacent to 213. Limited coordination is needed for existing audio engineering office above Brechemin Auditorium. In addition to the two performance spaces, minor upgrades to “The Fishbowl” (a ground level meeting room) and the main entry lobby will be included in the project scope. Upgrades to these spaces will primarily be architectural finishes and lighting
