Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Public Works Department is seeking qualifications from interested architectural and engineering consultants to aid in development of a project leading to construction of a Vehicle/Equipment Storage Building. This expansion of the current Operations Center will involve replacement of the existing WTA building and Wash Rack Building. The current WTA building is located at 2221 Nevada Street. The City is looking to replace the existing WTA building with a new vehicle and equipment storage building that will include heated vehicle and equipment storage and workshop spaces. The new single-story building will include restroom facilities, Operations wood shop, vehicle storage space for: 6 Vactor trucks, 3 street sweepers, snow and ice equipment, tractors, mowers, operations vehicles and equipment, and incorporation of a new wash rack into the building. The scope of work will include programming, pre-design and feasibility, planning, design, construction documentation for bidding.
