Contractor shall draft materials and resources emphasizing the lives, history, achievements, and contributions of Americans of Chinese descent. Materials and resources shall be produced based upon data, evidence-based practices, and research. Resource materials may include a poster or series of posters that commemorate the heritage, history, lives, and achievements of Americans of Chinese descent. • Resource materials may focus on a targeted groups of people in history such as Americans of Chinese descent who are veterans, active military, and/or reserve members. • One of the materials or resources developed shall be editable in digital format in order to be updated to comply with legislative changes. • Contractor shall make efforts to ensure drafted materials may be translated in additional languages (the top ten (10) languages spoken by Washington students after English are: Spanish, Vietnamese, Russian, Chinese-Mandarin, Ukrainian, Arabic, Somali, Korean, Punjabi, and Tagalog). • All drafted materials shall be submitted to OSPI to review and approve content and to ensure compliance with OSPI formatting standards and Accessibility Requirements noted below. • Approved materials and resources shall be provided to OSPI to be made accessible to school districts with the contract completed by June 30, 2025.
