Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. King County International Airport (Airport) is unable to determine the precise schedule or amount of work that may be performed under this Contract. The work will be assigned to the contractor by Work Orders. Each Work Order will address a specific scope of work and time of completion. The Work Orders shall be performed as directed by the Project Representative and in accordance with the Drawings and Technical Specifications. Work will be performed in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Contract with a not to exceed Contract Price of $500,000. The Airport does not guarantee any minimum amount of work or that the value of the Work Orders issued will total $500,000. B. The Contract consists of Work Orders to be issued by the Airport within the contract time to 1) Construct physical perimeter improvements at the airport. 2) Replace, repair, or install fences, vehicle barriers, and gates, including all ancillary work. 3) Install, repair, adjust, or replace gate automation, and operators, safety devices, video surveillance, and access control components. 4) Other work related to physical security improvements and crime prevention through environmental design (CPTED). Work will include labor, materials, and equipment as approved by the Project Representative. Refer to Technical Specifications and drawings for particulars and submittal items. C. All work is to be conducted within the defined work area as approved by the Project Representative in accordance with, restrictions and conditions necessary to maintain airfield and aircraft safety as required by FAA regulations, and as required to maintain efficient airport operations. These requirements may impose limitations upon the Contractor’s methods and procedures. Contractor personnel may be required to obtain an airport badge. No background check is required to obtain this badge.
