Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. The DISTICT's current Customer Management System (CMS) software application is a Cogsdale implementation of the Great Plains enterprise platform. The DISTRICT is in the process of replacing such with a fully integrated NISC Enterprise Resource Program (ERP) including GIS, Meter Data Management System (MDMS), and Outage Management System (OMS) applications. B. The DISTRICT’s single phase residential electric meters are solid state Aclara meters, Aclara solid state AMR and electro-mechanical meters of various manufacturers. Over the last five years the use of solid-state single phase Itron AMR meters has become the standard. They are randomly spread across the DISTRICT with approximately 20-percent equipped with an ERT. There are approximately 32,980 single phase residential meters and approximately 1,410 three phase meters. C. The current meter reading system is mostly manual. For large commercial and Industrial customers 15-minute readings are downloaded manually each month. The DISTRICT reads meters in 9 cycles over each month. D. The DISTRICT desires to interface the AMI system with the existing and future ERP system and potentially other DISTRICT business software applications. Potential integrations include, but are not limited to, Asset Management/Work Order, SCADA, OMS, smart field devices and potentially other applications that leverage the DISTRICT communication systems. The desired vendor must have a thorough understanding of how AMI systems interface with other business software systems.
