Specifications include, but are not limited to: Built in 1956, the Small (Mt. View) Creek Bridge on Elliott Circle is an off-system bridge and is categorized as a ‘small bridge’. The bridge provides sole access to rural residential lands. The bridge has reached the end of its useful life. The scope of work for the proposed project is to replace the bridge with a new single span precast prestressed concrete bridge on the existing alignment that meets current standards (the “Project”). As there is no detour route, staged construction will be required. The existing bridge is narrow and will likely require that the new bridge be constructed with minimal demolition to maintain a single lane of traffic during construction. A profile raise of the bridge is not expected.
