6530 Pharmacy Refrigerators, Walla Walla, WA Department of Veterans Affairs
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to provide a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following supply:
TITLE: Pharmacy Refrigerators (8)
SCOPE: The contractor shall furnish eight (8) pharmaceutical grade refrigerators that meet the following characteristics:
- Pharmaceutical Refrigerators (pharmaceutical grade-purpose built units)
- Product Dimensions: 13-21 cu ft
- Power: 110-120 V 60 Hz
- Storage: At least five (5) baskets and/or drawers
- Meets CDC and VFC Vaccine Program Requirements and Recommendations
- Certified to meet NSF/ANSI 456 Standard for Vaccine Storage
- Provides accurate temperature monitoring
- No “Cold Spots” in the fridge; vaccines can be stored anywhere in the fridge
- IMPORTANT! Must maintain temperature within range for up to 5 days or more in the event of a power outage, unplugged cord, etc. A battery backup system is not preferred as this would generate heat in a small space. If your solution is battery backup system, please explain how/if heat generation is minimized.
- MUST be compatible with Omnicell FlexLock security system
- Upright or chest style acceptable

RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: company name, address, and business size; point of contact name, phone number, and e-mail address; type of item(s) offered and if the supplies are available on a current GSA Federal Supply Schedule contract.
NAICS Code 333415 is applicable to determine business size standard.
