1. Selective demolition required by the Demolition Drawings and Demolition Keynotes on the Drawings. 2. Existing interior work, surfaces, and finishes to be removed/salvaged or reinstalled as indicated. 3. See Section 02 87 00 “Fugitive and Silica Dust Control Procedures” for hazardous material. 4. Temporary protection of existing assemblies. 5. Selective Demolition as required to complete the work of all trades, including demolition of materials that may not be indicated on the drawings but that are required to be removed to execute the work, or to access adjacent connections or materials that may need to be removed to complete the work. 6. Selective Demolition as required to access areas of the existing structure to retrofit or modify existing structural elements. Included in this demolition scope is demolition required to access areas of the existing structure for temporary shoring. 7. Selective demolition required by the Architectural, Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Structural, Electrical, and Special Systems demolition drawings. Contractor is responsible for coordination demolition scope across all demolition drawings. If scope discrepancies or demolition overlap occur, contractor shall assume larger demolition scope.
