Delivery Location 1: The Vendor shall deliver 3,000 tons of chip rock aggregate by barge to the County-owned barge landing site at MacKaye Harbor on Lopez Island, located at 48° 26' 30" N by 122° 51' 49" W. The Vendor shall supply and deploy all the necessary equipment and services to offload the materials into County owned and operated dump trucks by a conveyor system. Delivery Location 2: The Vendor shall deliver 3,000 tons of chip rock aggregate by barge to the County-owned barge landing site at Jackson Beach on San Juan Island, located at 48° 31' 15" N by 123° 00' 20" W. The Vendor shall supply and deploy all the necessary equipment and services to offload the materials into County owned and operated dump trucks by a conveyor system. Note: The existing in-water timber piling and structure at the barge landing site is derelict and may not be utilized during material delivery. Delivery Schedule: The Vendor shall complete delivery of the chip rock aggregate to both locations, to take place prior to September 30, 2025. The Vendor shall coordinate a mutually agreed upon delivery schedule with the County, with mutual consideration of tides, weather, and availability. Delivery Acceptance: The County will supply and operate at least four 10-yard dump trucks to transport 3,000 tons of the barged chip rock aggregate to the County stockpile located within approx. 1,300 ft. of the MacKaye Harbor barge landing on Lopez Island, and will supply and operate at least six 10-yard dump trucks to transport the remaining 3,000 tons of chip rock aggregate to the County stockpile on Beaverton Valley Road, less than 5 miles from the Jackson Beach barge landing site on San Juan Island. The barge landing sites will be closed to the public during materials delivery. Permits: The County has obtained regulatory permission to use the abovementioned, established barge landing sites for the delivery and stockpiling of chip rock aggregate; any/all other regulatory approvals are the responsibility of the Vendor.
