WSDOT, owner of the PCC Railway System in eastern Washington, is soliciting bids to establish one or more open contracts with qualified Vendors for future aggregate needs. See Exhibit A for PCC Railway System map. Under this RFQ, potential Vendors shall provide a price per ton for Railroad Ballast (4 & 4A), Yard Ballast (No. 5 & No 57), Crush Surfacing Base Course (CSBC), Crush Surfacing Top Course (CSTC) and a price per ton-mile for Delivery and Stockpiling of the ballast, CSBC and CSTC. As future PCC Railway System aggregate needs arise, WSDOT will use accepted qualified Vendors Cost Proposal Sheets to determine the Vendor with the lowest overall price. Vendors may choose to bid on one or multiple materials listed on the RFQ.
