Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Brace front porch roof and remove all iron work from the front porch. Taking great care not to damage the roof, gutters or floor tile. Wrap all iron work and place it in the basement of the house. 2. Install four (4) new solid wood fluted shaft columns. Capitals and base of each column must mimic those in the provided photograph and be wood as well.,All must be primed and painted white in color. The columns must be 8" in diameter with a 10" band and capital and 12" square base. 3. Install new wooden top and bottom rail around outer edge of porch. Rails must constructed of treated lumber. The bottom rail is to be primed and painted white and the top rail is to be primed and painted black. Rails are to be painted prior to installation with touch up paint applied as needed after completion. Rails must be notched according to the fluting of the columns before it is to be attached. This process is to be completed to ensure a seamless connection between the columns and the rails.
