Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2. Contractor will be assigned duties that may include, but are not necessarily limited to, pruning or removal of hazardous/potentially hazardous trees or other woody plant material (crown cleaning, removing low hanging limbs in the ROW, sight obstructions, removal of dead/dying limbs, removal of entire trees, removal of vines, removal of competing shrub/weed trees), herbicide treatment of stumps, cleanup and removal of debris 3. Work may require climbing, roping, and rigging in addition to aerial lift usage. Cranes and other lifting devices are often needed to clean up wood waste in a timely fashion. 4. Tree work may be required in close proximity to electrical conductors, refer to “Protection of Overhead Utilities” section below. 5. Trees are located along city streets, in alleys, parks, and other property in the City of Lynchburg.
