COVER Heavy-duty tear-resistant vinyl laminate. Two (2) layers of vinyl bonded to a synthetic scrim. Double needle, lock stitch on both interior and exterior seams. All seams to be internal with exception of the end-closing seam. Must be anti-microbial and fluid resistant. Surface must wipe clean with soap and water or properly diluted disinfectants for sanitary protection and maintenance. Fabric must be flame resistant and have anti-bacterial properties. CORE Three (3) layer core construction. Internal material to be 90% recycled cotton fibers with 10% bi-component fibers blended and bonded into a resilient pad. Must be treated with boric acid in a wet process that insures uniform penetration. FLAME RESISTANCE Flame Resistance: mattress must meet or exceed the following tests for flame resistance: California Standard Bulletin 117 California Technical Bulletin 121 and 129 DOC FF-4-72 ASTM E-84, E-162 and E-662 Naval Test NFPA 267-98 safe enough to be used in submarines CORE TOLERANCE Octagonal Roller Test - 62,500 cycles Firmness Ratio not to exceed 1.50 Thickness loss not to exceed 3/4'' Impact Squirm Test - 50,000 drops Firmness Ratio not to exceed .65 Thickness loss not to exceed 1'' SIZE 25” x 75” x 4” COLOR Blue DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS For orders of 25 to 50, ship in cardboard cartons. For orders of more than 50, ship flat wrapped in heavy vinyl plastic.
