Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Replace all batteries (60 jars) with sealed, rechargeable lead acid batteries, equal to or better than the existing Emerson Model 38BB225X2K1BL1A batteries, with a discharge rating in watts per cell (at 77°f) of 377 @ 1.67 VPC, meeting or exceeding IEEE-485 capacity requirements at shipment. Vendor must provide battery specifications upon request. 2. Case and cover of the batteries shall be reinforced flame-retardant (rated UL 94 V-0 28% LOI) polypropylene or standard polypropylene, resisting bulges and meeting safety requirements, with Epoxy-sealed posts to eliminate leaks. 3. Perform high-rate static load acceptance test on all batteries prior to installation. Vendor must provide test reports to the County. 4. Check all connectors and cables for wear or corrosion. 5. Clean all connectors as necessary. 6. Replace any connectors and/or cables determined not meeting the manufacturer’s standards. 7. Torque all battery terminals to the manufacturer’s specifications. 8. Perform manufacturer’s testing procedures required for replaced batteries including, but not limited to UPS performance verification tests following battery replacement.
