Specifications include, but are not limited to: Conduct a survey in the spring of 2019, to collect data necessary to understand who the customers are that use the system, how they use it, and their satisfaction with the level and quality of service. This data will help support ongoing system service enhancements and regional transportation expansion efforts. • Gain an understanding of riders, and travel preferences for improving service planning, marketing and public outreach. • Gauge public perception of public transportation in the Greater Richmond Area. • Gather perceptions of passengers of public transportation by GRTC. • Identify areas of satisfaction and areas in need of improvement. • Provide information on how to improve GRTC’s communication with the community. • Establish baselines/benchmarks to determine impact of GRTC outreach and service enhancement efforts. • The survey data will form the basis for a long term GRTC Transit Plan to improve existing service delivery.
