1. All traffic sign blanks shall be precut and shall conform to ASTM B209; alloy 6061- T6 or 5052-H38. Most commonly used traffic sign blanks are Octagon, Diamond, Pentagon (School), Circle, Vertical Rectangle, and Equilateral Triangle. Bidder shall provide cuts or material specifications as proof that their product meets this specification. 2. All materials shall be new and unweathered and shall be of domestic origin, milled, rolled and finished in domestic mills. No recycled or reused materials will be considered. 3. All traffic sign blanks shall have a minimum thickness of 0.080 inch gauge. All traffic sign blanks shall have 3/8 inch round mounting holes located in accordance with the dimensions established by the Federal Highway Administration in the Standard Highway Signs and Marking Book. 4.
