Specifications include, but are not limited to: The objective of this project is to oversee the construction of a new Fire Station/Rescue Squad building in the Town. The building specifications include a metal structure featuring 7 bays aligned in a single row on one end, each measuring 14 feet in height. Additionally, the building dimensions must encompass 80 feet in width by 150 feet in length. A designated office space area, measuring 40 feet by 80 feet at one end, necessitates a height of 26 feet, while the remaining sections of the building are required to stand at 16 feet tall. The Town will manage the pouring of the concrete base for the building using in-house staff and will procure bay doors through a separate Request for Proposal (RFP). Moreover, the building must be engineered to withstand wind speeds of up to 142 mph. As per the Town's specifications, the exterior color scheme should feature a red building with a blue roof.
