The Virginia Department of Forestry is seeking a contractor for the purchase and installation of a commercial freezer door replacement on an existing freezer at The Augusta Nursery along with the repair of a heat strip around the exisƟng door frame, which keeps the door from freezing shut, per the following requirements: Requirements: Provide all labor and materials for the installation of a new manual single slide door, flat face frame with back-up jamb. All related components must be included in the price. Removal and disposal of the existing door and frame assembly. Frame must be sealed to the freezer box and fastened with carriage and lag bolts upon completion. The new freezer door must be of equivalent or better materials and must provide equivalent or better functionality than the existing door when it was new. All componentry used in the new installation must provide equivalent or better form and function than the existing componentry when it was new. The new installation must provide sufficient seal and sufficient insulation so as to maintain temperature without added electricity usage. The existing heat strip around the existing door frame is not working and must be repaired so that the freezer door does not freeze shut.
