Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Contractor shall provide consultation services to the Supervisor of Health Services for medical issues/questions that arise for either students or staff. 2. Contractor shall annually review and sign off on Standing Orders for AED Protocol, Stock Epinephrine Protocol, and the Procedure Manual for Health Services. 3. Contractor shall perform medical evaluations for students who have been referred for initial determination of special education eligibility and for currently classified special education students who require a triennial re-evaluation. Assess individual’s ability to meet the requirements (e.g. physical, mental) of the position. By Federal Law requirements, the school system must offer to provide this medical evaluation free of charge for students being referred to Central Eligibility Committee, be it initial or triennial evaluation that requires a medical evaluation. The parent/guardian may choose to have the medical completed by their private physician or by the school physician.
