Specifications include, but are not limited to: Offerors should address their ability to provide all professional services required for parks development and related projects. Services include, but are not limited to civil engineering, sports lighting design, general electrical engineering, architectural services for small park structures such as restrooms and shelters, landscape architecture, planning, structural engineering, mechanical engineering and surveying. Study and Preliminary Design Phase Consult with County to define specific requirements of the assignment and review available data in possession of the County. In consultation with the County, and on the basis of all information obtained, develop an action plan and determine the scope of the project. Perform all necessary research and field survey work to support the effort and coordinate with other annual vendors for environmental and geotechnical related services. Prepare preliminary design documents consisting of construction plans and specifications. Prepare all contract documents on forms as approved by the County. Based on the information contained in the preliminary design documents, submit an opinion of probable project cost including, but not limited to, construction costs and contingencies to the County. Furnish all such documents, plans and design data as may be required, and assist in the preparation of the required documents so the County may obtain approvals of all such governmental agencies and authorities as have jurisdiction over design criteria and environmental impact applicable to the project; and assist in obtaining such approvals by participating in submissions to and negotiations with appropriate officials and authorities, including attendance at administrative hearings and meetings as are necessary to obtain such approval.
