Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide and accommodate more flexible learning content formats, which better support individualized, non-linear, modular entry points to learning, as well as micro-credentialing for specific learning outcomes and assets; ii. Align relevant content from the library with strategic plans, performance expectations and individual learning goals; iii. Provide access to a professional content library of a size and variety comparable to the current system, but with a more balanced approach to K-12 and workplace topics; iv. Allow for upload of custom content in multiple file formats, including SCORM and Tin Can (xAPI) compliant; v. Deliver a dependable mobile-friendly, web-based platform, available 24/7; vi. Provide (or better integrate with) professional development planning tools, including career content mapping; and vii. Provide robust and granular analytic and reporting functions that can be used to assess the impact of PD, as well as user skills and progress.
