Specifications include, but are not limited to: Re-plaster pool tub with a combination of Whitecoat in the lap pool and the circulation pool area. Diamond Brite to be installed in zero depth pool area, color to match existing. Check and completely remove all hollows and loose areas with pick and hammers. Chip out minimum 2 inches below tile line and around all water inlets, return lines and light fixtures. Area to be sandblasted or water blasted with sand injector (3,500 PSI minimum) to remove all rust, algae, cooper sulfate, soft flaky plaster, paint and other foreign materials. Areas to be rechecked for hollows and loose flaky areas after being blasted. Install a bonding agent such as Multicoat Scratch Kote 2000 or an approved equivalent before applying plaster coating. Add Fritz Pak Plaster Supreme additive or an approved equivalent to Whitecoat plaster. Replace all Porcelain edge tile with a 6” porcelain tile. Repair and replace any damaged or loose nosing tile. Color to match existing. All depth marks must be documented and replaced as existing. Existing tile and tile thinset to be removed. Inspect mortar bed for any loose or damaged areas. Repair as needed. Tile to be set with Laticrete 257 Titanium thin-set mortar or an approved equivalent. Tile grout to be Laticrete Spectral Pro Premium epoxy Grout or an approved equivalent. All exposed cracks must be sealed with Laticrete Hydro Ban membrane or an approved equivalent.
