Specifications include, but are not limited to: I. The contractor referred to as the Operational Medical Director (OMD) shall be responsible to the Prince William County Fire and Rescue System Chief. A. The OMD shall perform services in cooperation with the Fire and Rescue System Chief to oversee and assure that state of art pre-hospital care is provided to the citizens and visitors of Prince William County. B. The OMD's performance of services shall be subject to review by the Fire and Rescue System Chief or designee. The contractor shall provide development, guidance, oversight and operation of all pre-hospital EMS programs within the County. Items include but are not limited to: 1. Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD); 2. Emergency Response; 3. On-Scene Patient Care; 4. Treatment, Transport and Transfer of Patient Care; 5. Patient Care Reporting and Documentation; 6. CoAEMSP Accreditation; 7. BLS and ALS Education Programs (initial and continuing education); and 8. Other related duties specifically approved by the Contractor Administrator or designee and associated with the delivery of Emergency Medical Services by Prince William County departments and/or agencies.
