Specifications include, but are not limited to: The TV set must be a modular set that is lightweight, easily taken apart, and can be added to at a later date. The set must have a curved radius that is between 12 - 15 feet. The curved framed walls must be 8 feet tall to fit in our studio. It will not fit if it is taller. If the frames are shorter the top will be seen on a wide shot. So it must be 8 ft tall. The set must include the following elements: 1. A triangle shaped news desk with a laminate finish, or similar, that is between 2'8" to 3'6" high and 5' - 6' wide. It must be easily configured with a 2-3 person top and 4-5 person top. It must have concealed wheels. The desk will need to be moved on a regular basis, and the wheels cannot be visible in shot. 2. The modular frame walls must be between 2' - 5' wide each for ease of movement and differing set configurations. The frame walls must contain 3-5 window-like panels running bottom to top with the bottom panel being a solid color/material and the others being a plastic translucent material or similar. Each panel/window should be between 20" - 28" high and the same width as the frame. The curved walls may not be thicker than 2 inches. The walls need to be able to stand alone. The frame walls should have steel tubing or a similar strength, but thin enough to be moved and disassembled by one person. The 'window-like' panels or materials within in the frame walls must be translucent to allow different colored lighting to be used from behind to change the set 'look'. The panels themselves must be interchangeable with a fastening system like Velcro or similar, so that we can insert our own green screen panels.
