Specifications include, but are not limited to: Most schools will have multiple window panel dimensions. The majority of classrooms within a school will have the same dimensions, but many schools have had renovations which result in differing dimensions between new and older doors. 4.1.3. Each lockdown window cover shall be labeled with its dimensions. 4.1.4. PWCS shall provide the selected vendor with window panel dimensions and count for each school. 4.1.5. Lockdown Window Cover Requirements: 4.1.5.1. A two-inch adhesive strip (at the top) with removable hook and loop closure (to secure to the window or door frame); 4.1.5.2. A hook and loop strap to secure the material when rolled up, made of sufficient length to serve as a quick-release tab; 4.1.5.3. Constructed at least one-inch and a half (1.5”) wider than the provided dimension on each side, and at least two inches (2”) longer than the provided dimension at the bottom; 4.1.5.4. Constructed of material and designed to deploy in such a manner as to provide maximum concealment and minimum transmission of light; and 4.1.5.5. Each cover shall be labeled with the window dimension it is built to cover (dimension provided by PWCS). All shipped boxes shall be designated for only a (one) specific school and have the school name labeled on the outside of the box. 4.1.5.6. The selected material shall lay flat when deployed and not cup or curl at the side edges. Also, the material must attach to something at the bottom or bottom corners to keep it taut.
