Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supervision, equipment, tools, services, incidentals and related items necessary to provide grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, edging, leaf/debris blowing, litter removal, weeding, mulching, pruning, and leaf removal for the Historic Triangle Campus. The overall site encompasses approximately thirty (30) acres with the managed turf area encompassing approximately eight (8) acres of the total site size. 2.Criminal background records must be provided and approved by TNCC prior to any employee working on State Property. The cost of the criminal background check shall be the responsibility of the successful bidder. 3.The successful bidder shall have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the local area performing work of a similar nature for properties of a similar size. References are required. 4.TNCC reserves the right to reject any of the successful bidder’s personnel who, in TNCC’s judgment, are not adequately qualified to perform the work or who pose a threat to the students or staff of TNCC. 5.The successful bidder shall be responsible for the conduct of all personnel while on the job site. 6.To ensure the overall safety of all personnel and property involved, the successful bidder’s personnel shall be capable of communicating effectively in the English language, both oral and written.
