Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.3.1 Contractor shall exercise reasonable care and diligence to provide services for the daily operation of the pool complex, which shall include the following duties: 3.3.1.1 Complete a daily documented, (written) safety check of pool complex, including the leisure attractions, i.e. slides, or other features; bathhouse, i.e. showers, changing room, lockers; deck and lawn areas. Contractor shall submit form for the Owner’s review and pre-approval, for site specific features (14) days prior to opening day. Contractor shall submit completed daily forms to the Owner at the end of each week. 3.3.1.2 Clean the entire bathhouse, including: guard and manager office areas, family changing area, locker rooms, etc. End of day cleaning of locker rooms shall not begin before 7pm unless it does not include using the hose to wet down the area(i.e. cleaning mirrors, countertops, picking up trash, etc.). Contractor required to ensure adequate staffing levels after closing to ensure proper cleaning occurs. 3.3.1.3 Enforce all rules and regulations stipulated by the Owner and suggest and advise with regard to additional rules and regulations for the operation of the pool. 3.3.1.4 Conduct water testing and maintain records as required by Commonwealth of Virginia, Fauquier County and the Owner, and meet all requirements for such reporting. 3.3.1.5 Maintain any additional records as reasonably required by the Owner to include incident and accident reports (the Owner will provide these two report formats). Provide Owner copies of all incidents and accidents reports recorded. 3.3.1.6 Replenish supplies as they are used or depleted for the First Aid kit and AED. 3.3.1.7 Maintain, and operate the filter equipment in accordance with health department requirements. 3.3.1.8 Contractor shall vacuum pools on a daily basis. Contractor shall perform all vacuuming when the pool is not in use for any activity, program, or public swim time. 3.3.1.9 Backwash filter system; to be conducted and completed when the pool is not in use for any activity, program or public swim time. Contractor shall perform this anytime pressure differential is greater than ten (10). If pressure differential greater than ten (10) occurs during normal operation hours, backwashing shall only occur during swim breaks. Backwashing may also be used when flowrate drops below minimum rate listed on each pool placard. Note: Prolonged backwashing will overfill reservoir tank located outside of pump room near northeast corner of building. 3.3.1.10 Work with the Owner in handling complaints users may have, report via phone call, email, or text, depending on the severity, all complaints within twenty-four (24) hours to the Owner.
