Specifications include, but are not limited to: Preventative Maintenance: Preventative Maintenance shall be performed on all equipment on the “Preventative Maintenance Equipment List” semi-annually (twice a year) during the months of June-July and December-January. All PM service work performed on any piece of equipment shall be done per the manufacturer’s specifications and recommendations. In addition to performing all manufacturer required PM work, the Contractor shall perform the following PM services as well: (if not already included as part of the manufacturer’s recommended PM service) Repair Services: Repair Services shall include, but not be limited to repairing and installing refrigerators, freezers, ice machines, and other miscellaneous refrigeration equipment, replacing parts and sub-assemblies, adding new lines and refrigerant, and replacing compressors. Repair services shall also include disposal of non-repairable compressors and gas refrigerants from compressors and related components. Repair Services shall also include the repair and installation of heat related equipment such as: convection ovens, combi-ovens, steamers, hydrovection ovens, and booster heaters. Emphasis shall be placed on the repair of existing refrigeration parts and components rather than random replacement of a choice of parts to correct the problem.
