Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Brittingham-Midtown Community Center: Hallways, Offices, Work Areas, Meeting/Conference Rooms, Lobbies, Kitchen Areas Daily: 1. Sweep all non-carpeted areas with a dust mop. This includes classrooms, dance rooms, gym, back seating area and entryways; 2. Vacuum carpeted traffic areas, remove all obvious debris and spot clean all carpets. Make sure the carpets are vacuumed at the end of each shift. (Vacuum should have a Carpet & Rug Institute Seal of Approval Certification); 3. Damp mop all non-carpeted areas; 4. Empty all wastebaskets; wipe any stains or spills, install replacement liners when required, and carry trash to pick up areas; 5. Empty trashcans that are located outside (parking lot and pavilion), and carry trash to pick up areas; 6. Pick up loose trash in parking lot and pavilion; 7. Empty all recycling bins (plastic bottle and can bins); wipe any stains or spills, install replacement liners and carry recycling to the recycling pick up area; 8. Clean/disinfect wall switches, doors, knobs/handles and partitions; 9. Clean and polish all drinking fountains; 10. Clean/rid of debris outside entrances, outdoor pavilion area and vestibules; 11. Dust desk accessories, wall ornaments, and sanitize telephones; 12. Clean countertops and tables in all rooms at least twice a day. Restock all soap and paper towel dispensers (restock with antibacterial soap/paper towel rolls must fit the dispenser (two different sizes)); 13. Remove and dispose of trash from gym bleachers. Weekly: 1. Wipe/dust all furniture surfaces with approved cleaning items.; 2. Vacuum all carpeted floor areas including under furniture, in corners, behind equipment, and along baseboards; 3. Polish all bright metal surfaces; 4. Wipe/dust tops of vending machines, display cases, cabinets, and other surfaces; 5. Clean metal doors and thresholds; 6. Damp mop bleachers with plain water so the finish on the wood floor does not get ruined; 7. Clean floor drains. Monthly: 1. Vacuum, dust or brush all HVAC vents and high window ledges, including those in restrooms and gym (up to a height of 25ft); 2. Scrub floor in the back lobby seating area. Quarterly: 1. Wipe clean horizontal and vertical blinds (plastic laminate only). Locations are offices, aquatic offices, conference room, and rooms 101 and 102. Restrooms Daily: (Shall be checked hourly) 1. Empty all wastebaskets, wipe any stains or spills, install replacement liners when required and carry trash to pick up areas; 2. Clean/disinfect all wall surfaces, stall partitions and doors; 3. Clean all mirrors; 4. Clean and sanitize all urinals and toilet bowls including the tops and underside of all toilets; 5. Clean areas surrounding toilets to remove stains and spills from lower bowl, wall and floor; 6. Install urinal deodorizing blocks and pliable screens in urinals. Clean and sanitize wash basins and countertops; 7. Clean, sanitize and restock all dispensers. (paper towels, antibacterial soap, toilet paper, baby changing station liners, toilet seat covers, paper towel rolls); Clean/disinfect all faucets and handles; 8. Sweep and wet mop all floors using a germicidal solution, at least twice per day; 9. Replenish bathroom tissue and paper towels as needed.
