Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The contractors Central Station for fire alarm monitoring will be United Laboratories, Inc. (UL) listed and have trained operators in attendance at all times whose duties are to take action under established rules and guidelines. The contractor will be required to provide a copy of the UL certification with the bid. 2. The contractor will provide twenty-four (24) hour supervision and monitoring of the protective signaling devices and telephone lines originating at specified locations. Upon award of the contract, the following devices will be converted to signal the Contractor’s monitoring station prior to 12:00 a.m. (midnight), on the day of the contract term start date (see section B below for contract term). Contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary programming or equipment changes to establish communications to their monitoring station. 3. The contractor will provide access of password authorization to the County’s designated personnel to acknowledge, cancel or disable alarms for the purpose of testing or as necessary. 4. The contractor shall provide an action plan for response procedures to fire, trouble and supervisory signals.
