All correspondence must be made through the Vendor Portal. Specifications include, but are not limited to: one qualified Contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, services, permits and, incidentals required to perform Landfill Closure at the Fauquier Environmental Services Corral Farms site, located at 8499 Bingham Rd, Warrenton, VA 20186; 2.2.1 Site Preparation including: a. Construction survey and staking. b. Installation of erosion and sediment control devices. 2.2.2 Protection of existing features to remain following the completion of the Work. 2.2.3 Clearing, grubbing, and stripping. 2.2.4 Removal of Temporary slope drains and associated diversion berms from the area to be capped. 2.2.5 Installation and maintenance of temporary surface water controls to minimize run on to the area to be capped. 2.2.6 Development of on-stie borrow pit. 2.2.7 Filling of areas to be capped as needed to flatten subgrade slope to the specified grades. 2.2.8 Installation of bedding layer in the areas to be capped. 2.2.9 Management of leachate outbreaks encountered during capping activities. 2.2.10 Installation of geomembrane (40-,il textured LLDPE) and geocomposite drainage net (GDN). 2.2.11 Installation of 18-inch protective soil layer and 6” topsoil layer over the GDN. 2.2.12 Construction of stormwater down chutes and outlet piping and protection. 2.2.13 Ancillary grading to meet grades shown along the edge of the cap area. 2.2.14 Construction of diversion berms. 2.2.15 Modification of existing landfill gas collection systems. 2.2.16 Construction of stormwater retention ponds. 2.2.17 Providing Temporary Field Offices, storage, sanitary facilities and communication equipment. 2.2.18 Access road improvements following substantial completion of landfill cap installation. 2.2.19 Providing Record Drawings depicting all in place construction. 2.2.20 Construction quality control as required in the Contract Documents. 2.2.21 Temporary and permanent seeding and establishment of grass on all disturbed areas within the limits of construction. a. Restoration and maintenance of vegetive cover. 2.2.22 Disposing of waste generated from Project Work (including excess or unsuitable soil) at Fauquier Cunty Landfill or another site approve by Owner. Contractor will not be charged a tipping fee at Fauquier County Landfill. Bust is responsible for all hauling. The Contractor will require to take access soil unsuitable soil or waste material generated as a part of the work over the scales to allow for proper disposal documentation.
