Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Contractor must locate an office on WWRC grounds in an existing 1300 square foot building designed specifically for use by a DME vendor. 2. The contractor shall provide WWRC the following base services: a. A forty-five (45) day delivery time (fully assembled) for all contract equipment prescribed, purchased directly by WWRC. If a forty-five (45) day delivery cannot be met, WWRC must be notified within ten (10) days after order is placed as to when delivery can be made. In the event of delayed delivery, the manufacturer’s order acknowledgment showing estimated delivery date shall be required as evidence of delayed delivery. Customized wheelchairs should be delivered within sixty (60) days from receipt of purchase order. b. Written price quotes and manufacturers’ specifications on all manual and power wheelchairs should be provided upon conclusion of a patient’s assistive technology evaluation and within 24 hours. (These assistive technology evaluations occur twice a week (see item 2.h.) and include a physical therapist, an occupational therapist, on occasion a speech therapist, and vendor’s ATP as required.) In the case of custom items or unforeseen difficulties, vendor has up to three (3) business days for completion. Upon contractor’s receipt of purchase order from WWRC, contractor will provide an estimated delivery time. Prices in effect at the time of evaluation must remain the same regardless of delivery date of equipment.
