Specifications include, but are not limited to: -Provide an appropriately certified Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) to protect the public interest by professionally evaluating any employee who has previously violated the Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and recommending appropriate education/treatment, follow up tests, and aftercare. -Provide counseling to County employees and/or County supervisors on subjects including, but not limited to, substance abuse, emotional and mental instability, family difficulties, eldercare concerns, management services, financial problems, productivity and attendance problems. Up to four (4) counseling sessions per client, per incident, plus any follow-up contacts necessary to satisfactorily complete EAP agreements for the employee.
