The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, supplies and on-site supervision to patch, crack fill and seal the Virginia ABC parking lot at 7450 & 7452 Freight Way, Mechanicsville, VA 23116. The contractor shall provide the following services: A. Implement barricades to cordon off the work area, ensuring the safety of the public and minimizing disruption during the project. B. Conduct a thorough cleaning of the asphalt using power brooms and high-velocity blowers as needed. Prepare oil, gas, or diesel stains with a suitable primer that is compatible with the sealcoating products to be employed. C. Remove vegetation present in cracks and along the edges of the asphalt surface and apply vegetation control herbicide to prevent future growth. D. Fill cracks with sealant products that are suitable for the specific size of the cracks and compatible with the sealcoat. E. Apply sealcoat to the identified areas using two (2) applications as per industry standards. Ensure all sealcoat products conform to local, state, federal, and EPA regulations. (Vendors must include with their bid documentation comprehensive product information and data sheets for the proposed sealcoat product, including, but not limited to: product name, manufacturer details, description of the product, installation guidelines (including acceptable temperature range for application), maintenance instructions, technical specifications (including drying times), safety data sheets (if available) and warranty information. F. Execute the work in clearly defined stages to facilitate uninterrupted traffic flow in critical areas as designated by Virginia ABC. Work may be performed between Virginia ABC’s operating hours of 5:00am and 11:00pm. Work can also be performed on the weekends. G. Ensure that all equipment used is cleaned and maintained in a manner that prevents runoff, thereby safeguarding the soil, drainage systems, and waterways from contamination. H. The awarded contractor must provide a valid Contractor’s license for both itself and any subcontractors engaged in the work (if applicable). I. The awarded contractor shall provide a valid Certificate of Insurance (COI), identifying the location on where the work will be performed as the “certificate holder”.
