Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Analyze current parking conditions in the study area including supply and demand for public and private parking. a. Evaluate current conditions, work with municipal staff to gather additional data where needed. b. Review the current zoning ordinance relative to parking regulations for study area land uses. c. Complete a supply vs. demand analysis and identify immediate needs for available parking within the study area. Analysis should encompass need differential based on time of day and/or season and identify areas with surplus or deficit parking. d. Gather input from key study area stakeholders (major business and property owners) and municipal staff regarding current parking regulations and conditions e. Provide draft and final documentation and maps illustrating the results of analysis. B. Assess current operational practices for the study area’s parking programs and identify potential improvements. a. Assess current operation practices by Town and compare to similar communities around country, provide recommendations on operational changes. b. Evaluate existing charter, policies, and ordinances and recommend potential amendments to address the community goals and needs.
