Specifications include, but are not limited to: A.Provide on-site, project specific training on Lockout Tagout procedures that meets the requirements of OSHA 1910.147. Trainingshall consist of the following:Training should provide a background on hazardous energyand detail Lockout Tagout procedures specific to the District’s equipmentTraining must be ongoing to include the initial safety training for new employees and refresher training for existing staffDocumentation and equipment surveys/inspections.Use of Lockout Tagout paperworkNFPA 70ePPELabeling and the limitations of tagsBasic Lockout/TagoutproceduresHands on training of authorized and affected employees and theirdesignationsCertification of Lockout/Tagout B.Hazardous Assessment to be conducted at all specified locations identified by the end user.Evaluations must begin within ten (10) business days following the receipt of a fully executed contract. A member of School Plants will be available for the evaluation and procedure development process.C.Identification and labeling of equipment for lockout/tagout procedures according to the manufacturer’s guidelines.Completed Lockout Tagout procedures for all identified pieces of equipment shall be provided within ten (10) business days of the completion of the assessment, in both electronic format and physically affixed to each applicable piece of equipment. Assessments must be able to be edited in the future by the District’s personnel, as needed, based on equipment changes.
