Specifications include, but are not limited to: (1) Sample preparation including crushing whole rock samples to pass a 10 mesh, mechanically split to amalgamate and obtain a representative sample which will then be pulverized with mild steel mills to pass 150 mesh. (2) Research quality whole rock analysis to include major oxides – Al, Ca, Fe, K, Mg, Mn, Na, P, Si, Ti, LOI, and trace elements Ag, As, Au, Ba, Be, Bi, Br, Cd, Co, Cr, Cs, Cu, Ga, Ge, Hf, In, Ir, Mo, Nb, Ni, Pb, Rb, Sb, Sc, Se, Sn, Sr, Ta, Th, Tl, U, V, W, Y, Zn, Zr, La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu by lithium borate fusion - Inductively Coupled Plasma-Atomic Emission Spectrometry (ICP-AES), Inductively Coupled Plasma-Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS), or equivalent methods. Cost estimate should be on a per sample basis itemized for above analyses. Lab results to be accompanied by full quality control parameters including values on replicates and standards and REE chondrite plots.
