The City reserves the right to modify services and/or reporting requirements, should requirements and policy of the City, the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and/or the U. S. Department of Treasury under section 601(d) of the Social Security Act, as outlined in the guidance change during the contract period. A. Minimum Requirements: 1) Contractor shall have established partnerships in the business community that are currently hiring for indemand skilled trainees. 2) Courses should begin within a week of award or as soon as possible thereafter, and must culminate on or before December 30, 2022. 3) Contractor’s curriculum must offer national-portable certification in an in-demand career path inside of the Greater Peninsula and Hampton Roads regions. 4) On-site facilities must be CDC compliant for COVID-19 safety matters. 5) Online training is acceptable if the resident/participant has Broadband in their home environment and they have been assessed to be self-directed in studies and assignments. 6) Contractor must have reliable and dependable transportation to the training site or Contractor must offer this as a service.
