Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to solicit sealed bids to establish a contract with one qualified supplier to provide Winter Coats to the Virginia Industries for the Blind (VIB), an enterprise division of the Virginia Department for the Blind and Vision Impaired (DBVI) to modify for the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). A. ML Kishigo Premium Brilliant Series Bomber Jacket in JS119 Yellow/Lime or equivalent. B. The garments are to be blank. There is no embroidery or imprinting requested. C. All sizes are to be of the same manufacturer / brand. The Commonwealth will NOT accept more than one style for the completion of the bid. D. The brand name listed is used solely to convey the general style, type, character, and quality of the items desired. The name of a certain brand, make, or manufacturer does not restrict Bidders to the specific brand name or manufacturerer listed. Any item, which DGS/DPS and DBVI in its sole discretion determines to be the equivalent of that specified, considering quality, workmanship, economy of operation and suitablility for the purpose intended, may be accepted.
