1. General Description The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and disposal necessary to remove existing windows and entry door. Contractor will install new fiberglass windows, along with entry door as described below. Work shall be completed in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer specifications. 2. Window Specifications • All new units shall be fiberglass fixed-panel windows. • Color: White interior and white exterior. • Glass: Double-pane insulated glass units. • All glass in the front entry upper unit and mulled panel below shall be tempered. 3. Entry Door Specifications • New Door will be comparable to existing and meet all building code requirements. • Door will have an interior turn lock and exterior keyed assembly. 4. Exterior Work • All exterior window and door trim shall be wrapped in white high-performance aluminum. The front entry upper unit shall include curved exterior trim, constructed and installed to match existing architectural conditions. 5. Interior Work • All interior extension jambs and trim shall be replaced with new materials. o Any repairs to damaged window framing discovered during this process will be billed as additional time and materials and are not included in this proposal. • All Interior jambs and trim PVC and paintable. 6. Site Protection & Cleanup • Contractor will protect surrounding areas during work. • All job-related debris will be removed and discarded in a dumpster supplied by the contractor at the site or removed and discarded from the site daily and at project completion.
