Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor is to remove approximately 300 cubic yards of material that has recently deposited on the boat ramp facility located on the Potomac River. Work is to be accomplished from the land via mechanical means (ex. Long-reach Excavator) and the excavated material can be deposited at the onsite dredged material management area. Work is being completing under permit #19-1576 (VMRC) and Regional Permit 02 (USACE). The intent is to remove deposited material down to the existing concrete ramp surface and as far offshore as the contractor can reach to elevation -5.0 (NAVD88). The contractor shall protect the existing asphalt/concrete surfaces with timber matting. The contractor shall seed, fertilize, and straw the access route between the ramp and dredged material management area once the work is complete.
