A. Provide routine inspection and preventative maintenance of manual and power wheelchairs. B. On-call and scheduled repairs for all wheelchair types. C. Provide and/or procure all replacement parts required for wheelchair repairs. D. Provide documentation of all services performed, including dates, repairs, parts used, and recommendations. E. Coordination with therapists, staff, and residents for scheduling and follow-up F. Emergency repair services within twenty-four (24) hours as needed. G. The Contractor must be available to respond to requests by facility staff on site, by phone, or by email within twenty-four (24) hours. In the event of an emergency where the provider is unable to be present, the City of Virginia Beach reserves the right to enlist the services of another contract awardee. H. The city coordinator for these services will be the Clinical Services Administrator. Point of contact information for each location will be provided upon award. The City coordinator will be responsible for identifying needs and coordinating activities, as necessary, and approving reimbursement.
