A. The Successful Offeror shall provide welding gas and equipment delivery, installation, commissioning, and all required training for the project. The offeror must be able to provide maintenance for all equipment needed to operate two welding labs. Specifically, centralized extraction equipment is required. B. The current welding labs are undergoing a full renovation, and the successful Offeror shall commence installation of all required welding equipment, booths, manifolds, fume extraction equipment etc. in concert with the general contractor, architect and engineer’s work. C. The Successful Offeror shall utilize the construction documents for both facilities in the development of their response. (RFP document WL and BF) D. The Successful Offeror understands that any changes that impact the construction documents, offered cost and or specifications must be approved by NHREC and the Architect and or Engineering firm. The language contained within the “construction specification books” especially those items in DIVISION 01 -GENERAL REQUIREMENTS shall follow in this regard. E. The Successful Offeror’s firm shall be accessible by email, telephone and responsive to calls by Architect and engineering firm and designated staff members. F. The Successful Offeror will base their proposal on providing centralized fume extraction/collection systems that include flame arresting at each booth. Note: The Butler Farm location will contain 40 individual booths divided into two (2) separate 20 booth lab areas. These are contained within the overall laboratory space. The Offeror shall include pricing for providing either one (1) single extraction and collection area serving all 40 booths, or two (2) separate extraction systems that can serve 20 booths each, and operate independently of one another. The Woodside lab will contain 20 booths and requires one centralized fume extraction system and collection area.
