Specification for Service Saddles 1. All Bronze service saddles shall consist of a bronze body made of 85-5-5-5 cast bronze per ASTM B584 or B62. All saddles must have stainless steel straps type 304 (18-8) with a minimum of 4 studs attached to saddle body. Bolts, nuts, and washers shall be 304 Stainless Steel. Brass fittings shall meet the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA): All water brass fittings shall be compliant with NSF/ANSI 61 Annexes F & G. Specifically: a.
