The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to solicit bids from qualified bidders to establish a term contract to furnish and deliver water and wastewater treatment chemicals referenced in Appendix A - Chemical Requirements, for the Stafford County Utilities Department sites. The County also has a partnership with Marine Corps Base Quantico (MCBQ) and chemicals may be ordered by the County on behalf of MCBQ subject to the terms of the Intergovernmental Support Agreement. The County intends for this IFB to result in one or more contracts per chemical with qualified contractors to furnish and deliver water and wastewater treatment chemicals in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications of this IFB and resulting contract, if awarded. Bidders may bid on one or more chemicals listed. Award will be made with an initial term of one (1) year with nine (9) one year renewal options.
